KNPSWU’s Dr. Hon. Isaac GM Andabwa Joins Munyuki Community in Solidarity With Bereaved Family of the Late Principal Simon Isiaho Shange

The Honorary General Secretary of the Kenya National Private Security Workers Union (KNPSWU), Dr. Hon. Isaac GM Andabwa, on Saturday joined residents, teachers, and community leaders at a fundraiser in support of the family of the late Mr. Simon Isiaho Shange, the esteemed Principal of Munyuki Secondary School.

Mr. Shange, remembered as a dedicated educator who shaped the lives of countless learners across Lugari, was honoured in an event that brought together hundreds in an extraordinary display of unity and compassion.

Speaking during the gathering, Dr. Andabwa lauded the community for standing firmly with the bereaved family and emphasised the need for swift action from investigative authorities.

“As we honour the memory of this exemplary educator, I urge the police to fast-track their investigations so the family can receive the justice they deserve. Justice delayed is justice denied,” said Dr. Andabwa.

He further noted that the strength demonstrated by the Munyuki community reflects its long-standing tradition of solidarity in times of grief and hardship.

The event was also attended by **Kakamega Governor H.E. Fernandes Barasa**, **Deputy Governor Hon. Ayub Savula**, and several other leaders who joined hands in offering comfort and support to the family.

Dr. Andabwa reaffirmed KNPSWU’s commitment to supporting communities during difficult moments and praised the late principal’s legacy of service, discipline, and mentorship.

“May Mr. Shange’s legacy continue to inspire us. May justice prevail. And may the family find strength in the unity of this community,” he added.
