The Eldoret National Polytechnic (TENP) is preparing to mark a significant institutional milestone as it hosts its 20th Graduation Ceremony on Monday, 1st December 2025, at the institution’s iconic Graduation Square. Preparations are in top gear, and all prospective graduands have been encouraged to finalize their registration by submitting all required details through the official graduation portal.

In his official message to the Class of 2025, the Chief Principal, Dr. Charles Koech, OGW, extended warm and heartfelt congratulations to the graduands for reaching a defining moment in their academic journey. He praised their resilience, determination and commitment, noting that their success reflects both personal effort and the supportive environment provided by TENP.

“This graduation marks not just an end, but the beginning of new and exciting chapters,” Dr. Koech said. “We are proud of each and every graduand, and we trust that the knowledge, values and skills you have acquired here will propel you into becoming impactful leaders and ambassadors of excellence.”

Dr. Koech urged the graduands to uphold integrity, professionalism and innovation as they transition into the world of work and continued learning. He reminded them that the institution’s reputation is carried forward by its alumni and encouraged them to remain connected to the TENP community.

In addition to congratulating the graduands, Dr. Koech extended an open invitation to parents, guardians, education stakeholders, alumni and friends of the institution to be part of this grand celebration. He emphasized that all guests are expected to be seated by 8:00 a.m. to allow the ceremony to commence promptly and run smoothly.

This year’s event will be graced by the Cabinet Secretary for Education, Hon. Julius Ogamba Migos, who will serve as the Chief Guest. His presence is expected to add prestige to the ceremony and inspire both graduands and attendees through his keynote address.

Under the exemplary leadership of Dr. Koech, TENP has continued to grow into a national powerhouse in technical and vocational education. His visionary approach has propelled the institution to new heights—expanding academic programs, strengthening research and innovation culture, and fostering a vibrant student life.

Dr. Koech’s focus on digital transformation, particularly the seamless adoption of the e-GP procurement system, has enhanced transparency, accountability and operational efficiency. This progressive mindset has positioned TENP as a model institution in modern educational management.

Beyond digital reforms, his leadership has nurtured excellence across all departments—from engineering and entrepreneurship to performing arts, sustainability initiatives and community outreach. TENP’s achievements, he noted, are a testament to collective effort, staff dedication and student determination.

“As we celebrate our 20th Graduation Ceremony, we reflect on not just the accomplishments of our graduands, but also the growth of our institution,” Dr. Koech emphasized. “TENP stands today as a beacon of quality, innovation and opportunity. This ceremony is a proud moment for all of us.”

The institution looks forward to hosting thousands of guests as it celebrates two decades of molding skilled professionals and fostering national development. Graduands and attendees are encouraged to prepare accordingly for what promises to be an inspiring, memorable and historic graduation ceremony.
