Moi University’s Prof. Violet Naanyu Appointed to WHO Technical Advisory Board

 



Moi University is proud to celebrate the appointment of Prof. Violet Naanyu, an Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioural Sciences, to the Technical Advisory Board of the World Health Organization (WHO)—a prestigious role that recognizes her outstanding contributions to global health and public policy.

Prof. Naanyu’s appointment marks a significant milestone not only for her career but also for Moi University and Kenya’s academic and research community. Her expertise in global health research, bioethics, and health systems strengthening—particularly in resource-limited contexts—has been recognized at the highest international level.

She is also a respected mentor, having trained and guided many emerging scholars in the fields of public health and behavioral science.
