Council Inspects New LSK Secretariat Ahead of Official Occupation
The Council of the Law Society of Kenya has inspected its new South C premises in Nairobi ahead of the official occupation scheduled for Wednesday, signaling the final phase of the Society’s transition to the new secretariat.
During the visit, Council members toured the facility to assess the progress of preparations and expressed satisfaction with the status of the works. Finishing touches have been completed, while final installations are underway to ensure the offices are fully equipped and operational.
The new secretariat, located in South C in Nairobi, is expected to boost efficiency and enhance service delivery to members. Officials overseeing the move said critical systems, including ICT infrastructure and office fittings, are being finalized to guarantee seamless operations once staff officially take up occupancy.
Council representatives noted that the modern facility is designed to support the Society’s expanding mandate and provide a conducive working environment for staff, while improving access to services for advocates across the country.
The official occupation on Wednesday will mark a significant milestone for the Society as it moves to fully operationalize the new premises and strengthen its administrative capacity.
