Kalonzo Musyoka Mourns Hon. Joseph K. Munyao, Celebrates “A Humble, Faithful Servant of the People”
Wiper Democratic Movement Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka has sent a heartfelt message of condolence to the family of the late Hon. Joseph K. Munyao, describing him as a devoted public servant whose humility and commitment to the nation left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
In his message, Musyoka said he was “deeply saddened” to join the Munyao family, friends, and the entire nation in mourning the passing of a man he described as “a quiet yet powerful presence, disciplined, and driven by the service of others above himself.”
Munyao, who served the country with distinction, was remembered by the Wiper Party leader as a man whose humility and grace defined his leadership.
“He was more than a steady hand; he carried himself with humility, grace, and a deep respect for all. His presence anchored every room he entered,” Musyoka said.
The Wiper leader paid tribute to the late Munyao as an elder brother and a model of selfless public service.
“Joseph was the embodiment of a devoted public servant, working tirelessly for ordinary Kenyans with a sincerity that is increasingly rare today. His guiding principle was simple yet profound: service for the people.”
Quoting from the Book of Matthew 25:23 — “Well done, good and faithful servant…” — Musyoka said he hoped the promise of Scripture would bring comfort to the bereaved family, noting that Munyao’s faithful service had been “recognised in the highest place.”
He assured the Munyao family of his solidarity during the difficult period of mourning.
“I pray that God carries you through this valley of grief and that the memory of Joseph — his discipline, his humour, and his calm strength — remains a warm, enduring reminder of the blessing he was.”
Kalonzo concluded his message by praying for eternal rest for the late Hon. Munyao and comfort for all who loved him.
“May the Lord grant Hon. Joseph K. Munyao eternal rest and comfort all who mourn him,” he said.
The nation continues to join the Munyao family in honouring the legacy of a man fondly remembered for his integrity, humility, and lifelong dedication to public service.
