Baraton University Honours Eldoret Media Hub for Student Attachment Program

The University of East Africa Baraton has recognized Eldoret Media Hub with a Certificate of Appreciation for its role in mentoring Media and Communication students during their three-month industrial attachment.

The students, who were placed at the Hub as part of their academic training, received hands-on experience in various aspects of media production and journalism. The attachment program, which ran for three months, aimed to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world media practice.

The certificate was officially received by Mr. Elvis Wasike, the students’ supervisor at Eldoret Media Hub. Speaking during the brief ceremony, Mr. Wasike applauded the university for entrusting the facility with the training of its students.

“We are honored to have been part of the students’ professional journey. It’s encouraging to see institutions like Baraton investing in practical learning for future media practitioners,” he said.

Mr. Wasike reaffirmed the Hub’s commitment to offering a conducive environment for learning and skill development, adding that such collaborations play a key role in shaping a competent media workforce in the country.

The University of East Africa Baraton continues to partner with various organizations across the country to ensure its students receive relevant and industry-aligned training before graduation.
