Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua Mourns Anita Kendi Kiraitu

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has joined leaders and Kenyans in mourning the passing of Anita Kendi Kiraitu, daughter of former Meru Governor H.E. Kiraitu Murungi.

In a heartfelt condolence message shared together with his spouse, Rev. Dorcas Rigathi, Gachagua expressed deep sorrow following the tragic loss.

“We have learnt of the passing of Anita Kendi Kiraitu, daughter of our respected elder and the second Governor of Meru County, H.E. Kiraitu Murungi, with deep sorrow,” the statement read.

The former Deputy President conveyed sincere condolences to Kiraitu Murungi and his family, describing the moment as painful and difficult.

“Mheshimiwa Kiraitu and your family, please accept our deepest condolences during this difficult moment. We are truly sorry for the loss of your daughter,” he stated.

Gachagua further assured the bereaved family of prayers and support as they come to terms with the loss.

“We place you and your family in our prayers. May the Lord God give you strength and comfort.”

He concluded the message with a prayer for Anita Kendi’s soul to rest in eternal peace.

“May the Almighty God rest the soul of Anita Kendi in eternal peace, and may perpetual peace shine upon her forever.”
