“Chaos in Kisumu: Fog Halts Wedding Amid ‘Spiritual’ Scare”

A wedding ceremony in Kisumu County turned dramatic after an unexplained fog engulfed the venue, forcing guests to flee and leaving the newlyweds in shock. Witnesses say the strange event occurred moments after the bride and groom exchanged vows on Saturday afternoon.

Guests flee Kisumu wedding after thick fog fills tent during vows

The couple, identified only as Brian and Cynthia, were holding a garden wedding at a private venue in Milimani Estate when the thick mist appeared suddenly. “We were clapping for the couple when a cold wind blew through the tent,” said one guest. “Within seconds, we couldn’t see anyone. People started screaming and running.”

Event organisers said there were no smoke machines or artificial fog devices at the ceremony. “We had tested all sound and lighting systems before the event. Everything was normal until the fog came out of nowhere,” said planner Mercy Ochieng.

According to neighbours, the fog cleared within minutes, but many guests refused to return, believing it was a sign of spiritual interference. “We saw nothing like it before,” said resident Lucas Odhiambo. “Some said it was a bad omen, others thought someone had invoked a protective spirit.” to read more click here
