Orero Boys Candidates Supercharged by Fiery Motivational Talk Ahead of 2025 KCSE"

 

Form Four candidates  at Orero High School were recently treated to an impactful motivational session led by renowned speaker Daniel Odhiambo, as part of the school’s ongoing strategic efforts to inspire academic excellence and surpass national exam expectations.

Grateful for the opportunity, Mr. Odhiambo described the event as a "powerful session," noting the remarkable enthusiasm and openness from the students. “Many of the boys expressed how inspired they felt, and there's a shared conviction that the Class of 2025 is set for a remarkable turnaround,” he said. “All glory and praise to the Lord for such a meaningful moment.”

The motivational talk is one of several academic support strategies implemented under the leadership of the school’s Chief Principal, Mr. Dickens Bula. Known for his visionary approach, Mr. Bula continues to push for holistic student development and improved academic performance.

A prominently displayed board at the school highlights Orero High School’s 2025 KCSE target — a mean score of 10.45 (B+), an ambitious leap from previous years. The school's performance has steadily improved since 2019, with recent results showing a consistent B and B+ trend, peaking at 9.863 (B+) in 2022.

“This is not just about numbers,” said Mr. Bula. “It’s about mindset, discipline, and spiritual grounding. We believe when we combine faith with focused academic effort, excellence follows.”

The school's motto — “Together, everyone achieves more” — is visibly reflected in its teamwork-driven culture and spiritual foundation. A verse from 1 John 5:14, which underscores the power of prayer and faith, sits proudly at the bottom of the performance board, reminding students to trust in divine guidance as they pursue their goals.

With the 2025 KCSE examinations fast approaching, the Orero community remains hopeful and determined. If the passion displayed during the motivational session is anything to go by, the Class of 2025 could very well make school history.
