Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome has lauded her son, George Ng’ayu Wahome, on the momentous occasion of his admission to the Bar, joining the distinguished ranks of Advocates of the High Court of Kenya.
In a heartfelt message replete with maternal pride and professional gravitas, CS Wahome extolled the rigorous journey her son has undertaken, culminating in what she described as a noble calling to a lifetime of legal service. “Congratulations, Son, George Ng’ayu Wahome, on your admission to the Bar,” she said. “Today, you among others are the newest Advocates in town. You have my full support as you embark on this distinguished career.”
The Cabinet Secretary, herself a seasoned legal mind and stateswoman, extended her felicitations not only to her son but to the entire cohort of newly minted legal practitioners. She urged them to serve with unflinching integrity, fidelity to the Constitution, and an unyielding pursuit of justice.
“To your learned friends admitted alongside you earlier today, I extend my sincere best wishes,” she remarked. “May you all uphold the rule of law, discharge your duties with honour, and serve the public with unblemished integrity.”
She concluded her message with a resonant invocation: “Justice be your shield and defender,” echoing the solemn oath that binds every legal practitioner to the ideals of impartiality, equity, and national service.
George Ng’ayu Wahome’s induction into the Bar is not merely a personal triumph but a reflection of the values of perseverance, discipline, and service. As he now takes his place within Kenya’s legal fraternity, he does so under the watchful gaze of a nation that entrusts its advocates with the sacred duty of defending liberty and advancing the cause of justice.
This milestone further underscores CS Wahome’s unwavering commitment to both family and public service, proof that excellence and service run deep in the Wahome legacy.
