Julius Sabila Declares Saboti Development Agenda, Vows to Crush Rivals in UDA Primaries
Leading parliamentary aspirant for the Saboti Parliamentary seat Julius Sabila Cherry Saturday said his top most focus is on the improvement of local administrative accessibility and community inclusion in the Constituency.
Sabila who has been active in local development by providing financial and material resources to youth, women, and Persons Living with Disabilities (PLWDs) reiteratated that leadership in Saboti must prioritize listening to the needs of the electorate and fostering self-reliant economic opportunities and not empty political rhetoric.
The event which was held at the Holy Trinity Grounds in Saboti mainly to empower women groups brought together a line up of the National government and County leadership led by the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula, Senate Majority Leader Aaron Cheruiyot, Endebess MP Robert Pukose,Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang, County Women Representative Lilian Chebet Siyoi, Bungoma Senator David Wakoli Wafula, The President's Personal Assistant Farouk kibet, and a host of other leaders in the Provincial administration.
The Aspirant who is a firm believer He in unity, empowerment, and sustainable development that touches every household in Saboti underscored need for inclusiveness in the constituency he said had lagged behind in development for decades despite having been represented in Parliament by big political bigwigs.
"I attended a contribution towards an empowerment initiative at Holy Trinity, Saboti, bringing together government officials, community leaders and members of the public. I called for the unity of our people so that we make Saboti greater again '', he told the Vision News.
He added that If elections were held today, he will no doubt beat all other candidates pants down and told his supporters to remain strong.
Sabila will be competing against Thomas Kwalia and Kenya Seed Director Bernard Wambwa for the Saboti UDA primaries which Endebess MP Robert Pukose said will be free and fair.
The Endebess MP who is poised to win the Trans Nzoia UDA Chairmanship with ease owing to his Seniority said the party had no preferred Candidate and said that the party will support whoever will emerge the winner.
Most of the residents especially from the rural areas are in support of Sabila whom they said had stood with them by paying school fees, put up medical camps, revived cattle dips.
A Kinyoro resident Moses Nandasaba told the Vision News that so far there are only two horses in Saboti and that is the incumbent MP Caleb Amisi and Julius Sabila.
" All these people coming out flashing money were nowhere to be seen when we were in pain. We will teach them the Olkalau syllabus and vote with our brains since we have only been seeing Caleb and Julius", he said.
