Mudavadi Rallies Eldoret Residents to Back Ruto in 2027

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has urged Kenyans to actively participate in the country's democratic process by registering as voters and turning out to vote in the 2027 General Election, saying the future of the nation lies in the hands of its citizens.

Speaking during a Meet-the-People tour in Eldoret, Mudavadi emphasized that every vote represents hope, responsibility, and confidence in Kenya's future.

"Nothing is more powerful in a democracy than the voice of the people. Every vote cast is a statement of hope, responsibility and belief in the future we want to build together," he said.

During his engagement with residents, Mudavadi encouraged all eligible Kenyans to register as voters and peacefully exercise their constitutional right, noting that elections determine the country's leadership and development trajectory.

As the country gears up for the 2027 General Election, the Prime Cabinet Secretary called on Kenyans to continue supporting President William Ruto through the ballot, expressing confidence that the election will be free, fair, transparent, and peaceful.

"I remain confident that the will of the people will be expressed through a free, fair, transparent and peaceful election, and that the outcome will reflect the confidence Kenyans have in President Ruto's leadership," he stated.

Mudavadi also cautioned against tribal politics and divisive rhetoric, urging citizens to embrace unity, national cohesion, and peaceful coexistence.

He said Kenya's diversity should be viewed as a strength capable of driving economic growth, attracting investments, creating employment opportunities, and fostering prosperity across the country.

According to Mudavadi, maintaining peace and respecting democratic institutions will enable Kenya to unlock greater economic opportunities while strengthening its influence on the African continent and globally.

He further praised the Kenya Kwanza administration's economic agenda, saying the country continues to make progress under President Ruto's leadership and called on citizens to remain united in pursuit of a stronger, more secure, and prosperous Kenya.

The remarks come as political leaders intensify grassroots engagements ahead of the 2027 General Election, with voter mobilization and national unity emerging as key themes in the evolving political landscape.
