Caleb Amisi Welcomes Dr. Reuben Kigame to People's Renaissance Movement
Saboti MP Caleb Amisi has officially welcomed presidential candidate Dr. Reuben Kigame into the People's Renaissance Movement (PRM) Party, describing the move as a significant milestone in the quest to build a united, values-driven political movement ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In a statement shared on social media, Amisi announced that Dr. Kigame had been formally received into the party, expressing confidence that the movement would champion a new style of leadership centered on integrity, economic transformation, and national unity.
"Today I officially received Dr. Reuben Kigame as a member of the People's Renaissance Movement (PRM) Party – The Change We Need. Together we will work towards a new, united, tribeless team that promotes values, economic development and people-centered priorities," Amisi said.
He added that the party is committed to building a New Kenya founded on inclusivity, accountability, and servant leadership, using the hashtags #NewKenya, #TheChangeWeNeed, #MabadilikoNiSasa, and #Wantam to rally supporters.
Dr. Kigame's move to the People's Renaissance Movement is expected to boost the party's profile as political realignments gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections. The renowned gospel musician, activist, and presidential hopeful has consistently advocated for ethical leadership, constitutionalism, and issue-based politics.
Amisi said the partnership signals the beginning of a broader movement aimed at uniting Kenyans beyond ethnic and political divisions while prioritizing economic opportunities and people-centered governance.
The development comes at a time when political parties are stepping up recruitment and alliance-building efforts as the race toward the 2027 General Election begins to take shape.
