Sudi Gifts Motorbike to Orphaned Youth, Fulfilling Late Mother's Wish

Kapseret Member of Parliament Hon. Oscar Kipchumba Sudi has extended a helping hand to a young orphan from Kabongwa Village in Megun, fulfilling what the youth says was his late mother's final wish.

Brian Kipkurui shared an emotional story with the legislator, revealing that before her passing, his mother told him that if he ever needed help, the one person he could turn to was Hon. Oscar Sudi.

Touched by Brian's story and the responsibility he carries as the eldest sibling, Sudi stepped in to support him by gifting him a motorbike that will enable him to earn a livelihood and provide for his younger brothers and sisters.

Speaking during the handover, the MP said the gesture was aimed at empowering the young man to become self-reliant rather than depend on handouts.

"When Brian told me that his late mother had entrusted me with the responsibility of helping him whenever he faced challenges, I was deeply moved. This motorbike is not just a means of transport; it is an opportunity for him to work, generate income, and take care of his young siblings," said Sudi.

The lawmaker emphasized the importance of supporting vulnerable members of society, especially young people who are striving to overcome difficult circumstances.

An emotional Brian expressed gratitude for the support, saying the motorbike would transform his life and help him secure a better future for his family.

Residents who witnessed the donation praised the MP's gesture, describing it as a timely intervention that will restore hope and dignity to a family facing hardship.

The donation underscores Hon. Sudi's continued efforts to empower youth and support disadvantaged families across Kapseret Constituency through practical initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods and creating economic opportunities.
