Isiolo Woman Representative Mumina Bonaya Announces Expansion of Network Connectivity Projects
Isiolo County Woman Representative Hon. Mumina Bonaya has reaffirmed her commitment to improving digital connectivity in underserved parts of the county, noting ongoing progress in expanding network infrastructure to remote areas.
She said this week marks a key milestone as works at Iresaboru and Kom Goldhill are currently underway, with expectations that both sites will be operational by the 25th of this month, pending successful completion.
“I have remained committed to network connectivity in unserved parts of my county. This week Iresaboru and Kom Goldhill works is underway, and if all goes well, the two sites will go live by the 25th this month,” she said.
The Woman Representative added that additional areas across Isiolo will also be connected before the end of the year as part of a broader agenda to close the digital divide and enhance access to communication services.
According to Bonaya, improved network coverage is expected to boost economic activity, improve access to information, and strengthen service delivery in remote communities.
She emphasized that connectivity remains a key enabler of development, particularly in marginalized regions where access to digital services has been limited for years.
The initiative continues under her development slogan “#KaziBilaBreak,” which she uses to highlight ongoing constituency projects aimed at improving infrastructure and service delivery across Isiolo County.
