MP Otiende Amollo Praised for Transformative Leadership and Commitment to Education

The Member of Parliament for Otiende Amollo has once again earned praise from residents of Rarieda Constituency following the issuance of NG-CDF cheques worth KSh 50 million to schools and institutions during an event held at Ruma Multi-Purpose Hall.

The event, which brought together education stakeholders, community leaders, parents and residents, highlighted the legislator’s continued focus on improving access to education and uplifting livelihoods across the constituency.

In addition to the education support programme, a further KSh 1 million was distributed to 16 women and youth groups through the Uwezo Fund, a move widely welcomed as a major boost to grassroots economic empowerment.

Residents described the initiatives as clear evidence of the MP’s development-oriented leadership and dedication to ensuring that ordinary wananchi directly benefit from government programmes.

Speaking during the event, leaders and beneficiaries praised Hon. Dr. Otiende Amollo for maintaining a consistent focus on education, empowerment and community development since assuming office.

Many parents expressed relief that bursaries and school support programmes under the NG-CDF will help reduce the financial burden facing families struggling to keep their children in school amid difficult economic conditions.

Education has remained one of the central pillars of the Rarieda legislator’s leadership agenda, with significant investments directed toward improving learning institutions, expanding opportunities for students and supporting vulnerable learners.
