In an exciting development for the People’s Party of Kenya, former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua led the official opening of the party’s new office in Oloiktoktok, Kajiado South, marking another milestone in the party’s mission to connect with the people of Kenya ahead of the 2027 elections.

In a passionate address to the local community, Gachagua reaffirmed the People's Party’s unwavering commitment to democracy and governance that puts citizens first. "Today, we have not only opened the doors to a new office, but we have opened a new chapter for every Kenyan who wants a party that listens to them, understands their needs, and carries their aspirations forward,” he said.

Gachagua, who has long been an advocate for grassroots engagement, emphasized the importance of reaching out to communities across the country. "The People's Party remains firmly rooted in the philosophy of democracy for the citizens. We are engaging with the people, not just through words but through action. We are committed to building a future where every Kenyan feels represented, heard, and valued," he added.

The opening of the Oloiktoktok office is part of a broader initiative by the People's Party to strengthen its presence and engage directly with Kenyans across the country. Gachagua highlighted that the party is determined to ensure that the upcoming elections reflect the true will of the people, driven by candidates who represent the genuine interests of their communities.

"To the people of Oloiktoktok and Kajiado County, we say: This is your party. This is a party that stands for you, listens to you, and will carry your voices to the decision-making tables," Gachagua told the gathered crowd, who responded with resounding applause.

As part of the event, the former Deputy President also expressed his gratitude to the local leaders and citizens for their warm welcome and support. "I believe that together, we will make Kenya a place where every citizen's voice is heard, and where democracy works for all. God bless Kajiado County," Gachagua concluded.

The opening of the new office in Oloiktoktok is expected to strengthen the People's Party’s foothold in the region, with the party planning to roll out similar engagements across other parts of the country in the coming months.

The People’s Party continues to emphasize that it is focused on listening to the concerns of ordinary Kenyans and delivering policies that will improve the livelihoods of all citizens, irrespective of their background or location.
