FAKE MEETINGS SPARK OUTRAGE AMONG MBOIKAMITI SHAREHOLDERS.
By Grace Waithaka.
Mboikamiti Shareholders Chairman Gakunga Githiomi has strongly condemned individuals allegedly posing as officials of the shareholders’ association and organizing meetings aimed at misleading members of the public.
Speaking during a press briefing, Githiomi warned that the unauthorized groups are conducting illegal gatherings without the consent or knowledge of the legitimate leadership. He termed the actions as “deceptive and criminal,” urging members to remain vigilant and avoid attending such meetings.
“We have noted with great concern that some individuals are masquerading as officials and calling for meetings that are not sanctioned by the Mboikamiti leadership. These are illegal activities meant to deceive our members,” said Githiomi.
The chairman emphasized that all official communications and meetings will only be announced through recognized channels and verified leaders. He further called on authorities to take swift action against those behind the scheme.
Githiomi reassured shareholders that the leadership remains committed to transparency and the protection of members’ interests, urging unity during the ongoing efforts to streamline operations within the organization where the election will be conducted on 29/5/2026 at Githunguri stadium.
Investigations into the matter are reportedly underway, with members encouraged to report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.
