Tambach TTC Student to Perform Spoken Word at State House After National Victory

A student from Tambach Teachers Training College is set for a moment in the national spotlight after emerging the overall winner in a prestigious spoken word competition held in Nyeri.

Marion Jepkemboi will perform her award-winning spoken word piece at State House Nairobi on Friday before William Ruto.

Her performance follows her recognition as National Champion, marking a significant achievement for both the student and the institution.

Accompanying her is Michael Kipngeno, the scriptwriter and national director of the performance, who is also a lecturer at Tambach TTC. His guidance and mentorship played a key role in shaping the piece that earned Jepkemboi national acclaim.

The upcoming performance at State House is expected to showcase the power of creative arts in education, while also highlighting the growing influence of spoken word as a platform for youth expression in Kenya.

Jepkemboi’s success not only places Tambach TTC on the national map but also underscores the importance of nurturing talent in teacher training institutions.
