Kapsuswa Affordable Housing Project Nears Completion in Eldoret

Residents of Eldoret are set to benefit from a major housing boost as the Kapsuswa Affordable Housing Project (AHP) in Soy Constituency enters its final stages of completion.

The development, part of the national Affordable Housing Programme, comprises 220 housing units distributed across nine residential blocks. Exterior painting and landscaping are currently underway, signaling that the project is almost ready for occupation.

Designed to provide quality and accessible housing, the estate incorporates integrated commercial spaces that will host local shops and essential services, offering residents convenience within a well-planned community.

Beyond housing, the project places strong emphasis on social and environmental well-being. Key amenities include a social hall for community gatherings, designated children’s play areas, and a tree nursery aimed at promoting environmental conservation.

To ensure sustainability and comfort, the project is equipped with modern infrastructure such as well-paved walkways fitted with solar lighting, boreholes to guarantee reliable water supply, and backup generators to address power interruptions.

Security has also been prioritized, with support from the State Department for Internal Security and National Administration enhancing safety measures within the estate and surrounding areas.

Prospective homeowners interested in securing a unit can register and access pricing details through the Boma Yangu platform at bomayangu.go.ke.

The Kapsuswa project is expected to significantly ease housing demand in Eldoret while fostering a vibrant, secure, and sustainable community for its future residents.
