Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago has expressed profound sorrow following the death of Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno, describing him as a dear brother, trusted friend, and exceptional colleague whose passing marks a great loss to the nation.

In a heartfelt tribute, Senator Mandago said the country had lost a titan and a steadfast leader who dedicated his life to serving the people with courage and integrity.

“I am profoundly saddened by the loss of a dear brother, a trusted friend, and an exceptional colleague, Mheshimiwa Johana Ng’eno. We have lost a titan,” Mandago said.

He hailed the late legislator as an astute and fearless leader who remained principled and committed to the progress of his constituents and the country at large. According to the senator, Ng’eno’s sharp intellect, eloquence, and rare ability to build consensus set him apart as a distinguished parliamentarian.

“As an astute leader, he was fearless, principled, and dedicated to the progress of our people. His sharp intellect, eloquence, and ability to build consensus were unmatched, and his legacy of service will continue to inspire us,” Mandago added.

The senator extended his condolences to Ng’eno’s family, the people of Emurua Dikirr, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

“My heart goes out to his family, the people of Emurua Dikirr and everyone who had the privilege of walking with him. May God hold you close during this time of grief,” he said.
