The event was marked by high energy, competitive spirit and exemplary organization.
From the opening matches to the final whistle, the tournament flowed seamlessly, reflecting careful planning and strong leadership. Players demonstrated remarkable skill and determination, while fans cheered enthusiastically, creating an atmosphere of unity and healthy competition.
Speaking during the closing ceremony, the Chief Principal of Kaiboi National Polytechnic, Abdi Tiony, applauded the organizing team and participating institutions for making the tournament a resounding success.
“Kaiboi’s leadership has created an environment where talent thrives and sportsmanship prevails. The tournament has been conducted with order, discipline and professionalism. This is governance at work — calm, strategic and effective,” he said.
He emphasized that the institution views sports as an integral part of education and student development.
“At Kaiboi, sport is not a side activity but part of holistic training. It nurtures talent, builds teamwork and leadership skills, and keeps students meaningfully engaged. By involving students in constructive activities like sports, we help steer them away from social challenges such as alcohol and drug abuse,” he added.
The tournament also provided a platform for young athletes to showcase their abilities, network with peers and gain exposure, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to developing well-rounded graduates.
Participants and spectators alike praised the institution for its hospitality, fairness in officiating and well-coordinated fixtures, further cementing Kaiboi National Polytechnic’s growing reputation as a regional hub for both academic and co-curricular excellence.
