Eldobase Chemists Ltd Crowned Best Pharmacy at CBEA Gala Dinner in Kitale

Eldobase Chemists Ltd has been crowned Best Pharmacy during the recently concluded CBEA Gala Dinner held at Kitale Club in Trans Nzoia County, marking a significant milestone for the healthcare provider and the wider business community.

The award followed a rigorous and transparent evaluation process that included strict compliance and regulatory checks, assessment of customer care and experience, service delivery standards, stock availability, and overall presentation.

The selection process also incorporated online voting by residents and members of the local business community, reflecting strong public confidence in the institution.

Receiving the award, Eldobase Chemists’ Chief Executive Officer, Willy Kenei, who is also the Chamber of Commerce Uasin Gishu Chapter Chairman, expressed gratitude to the team and stakeholders for their unwavering support.

“We are deeply honored to be recognized as the Best Pharmacy in Trans Nzoia County, Kitale. This award reflects the dedication, professionalism, and excellence of our incredible team. We sincerely appreciate the residents of Trans Nzoia, the North Rift region, our clinicians, hospitals, government institutions, clinics, and the entire business community for their continued trust and partnership,” he said.

He reaffirmed the pharmacy’s commitment to quality service, integrity, and improved healthcare delivery, noting that the recognition would further motivate the team to serve the community even better.

The gala dinner also celebrated excellence across multiple sectors. Kenya Seed Company Ltd emerged as the Overall Company of the Year, while Absa Bank Kenya PLC was named runner-up after a competitive selection process.

The event brought together key stakeholders from both the public and private sectors. Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) President Erick Ruto lauded the strong turnout of business leaders, sponsors, county officials, and entrepreneurs, describing the forum as both a celebration of achievement and a strategic platform for dialogue.

Dr Ruto emphasized the need to address persistent challenges facing businesses, including multiple taxation, high electricity costs, and delays in settling pending government bills. He reiterated the Chamber’s call for harmonization of licensing frameworks and proposed a five-year tax holiday for start-ups to strengthen emerging enterprises.

“We must ensure that devolution works for businesses. Counties should be engines of growth, not barriers to enterprise,” he stated.

Among the dignitaries present were Kiprono Kitony, Chairman of the Nairobi Securities Exchange, KNCCI officials, regional directors, and representatives from various corporate institutions.

The CBEA Gala Dinner concluded with renewed calls for collaboration, progressive reforms, and sustained efforts toward building a more competitive and business-friendly environment in Trans Nzoia County and across Kenya.
