KNQA Director General at the KAISA Partners Breakfast meeting
Today, KNQA CEO Dr. Alice Kande joined the Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA), Microsoft, International Labour Organisation (ILO), the State Department for Labour & Skills development and other partners at the Kenya AI Skilling Alliance (KAISA) Partners breakfast meeting to solidify the framework for Kenya’s AI revolution.
While KAISA aims to skill 1 million Kenyans, the Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) will play the pivotal role of ensuring that these skills are:
* Accredited & Standardized: Ensuring AI curricula meet rigorous national and international standards.
* Recognized: Providing a bridge for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) so that self-taught AI talent can gain formal certification.
* Stackable: Implementing a micro-credentialing system that allows learners to build globally competitive, verifiable digital portfolios.
By aligning KAISA’s objectives with the National Qualifications Framework, we are not just training for today; we are building a credible, world-class talent hub for the global digital economy.
