Matatu Owners Association President Albert Karakacha Mourns Easy Coach Founder Azym Dossa

The President of the Matatu Owners Association, His Excellency President Albert Karakacha, has sent his heartfelt condolences to the family of Azym Dossa, the founder and owner of Easy Coach.

Karakacha described Dossa as a visionary entrepreneur who transformed Kenya’s long-distance travel sector through innovation, resilience, and a commitment to passenger comfort and safety. He noted that Dossa’s bold leadership and business acumen helped position Easy Coach as one of the country’s most respected transport brands.

Azym Dossa founded Easy Coach in 2003 after decades of experience in the transport industry. Despite stiff competition at the time, he built the company from the ground up into a leading bus and courier service provider operating key routes across the country, including Kisumu, Eldoret, Nakuru, Bungoma, Malaba, Kericho, and Narok.

Under his stewardship, Easy Coach grew to a fleet of over 100 buses and created employment for hundreds of Kenyans, leaving an indelible mark on the transport sector. His commitment to quality service, premium comfort, and operational excellence set new standards in public transportation.

President Karakacha praised Dossa’s legacy, saying his contribution to Kenya’s mobility and economic growth will be remembered for generations. He prayed for strength and comfort for the family during this difficult time and called upon the transport fraternity to honor Dossa’s legacy by upholding professionalism and integrity in the industry.
