Kalonzo, Gachagua and Wamalwa Receive Warm Welcome in Mulot as Opposition Rallies Support

Wiper Democratic Movement Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has said the opposition’s momentum is growing stronger across the country following a spirited stopover in Mulot, Bomet County.

In a statement after the engagement, Kalonzo said he was joined by former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Democratic Action Party–Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa on their way to Kisii when residents of Mulot turned out in large numbers to meet them.

“On our way to Kisii with my brothers H.E Rigathi Gachagua and Hon. Eugene Wamalwa, the great people of Mulot in Bomet stopped us for a powerful engagement. Mulot showed up. Mulot is ready. Wantam is inevitable,” Kalonzo said.

The Wiper leader described the reception as a clear indication that Kenyans are eager for change, adding that the unity among opposition leaders signals a new political chapter ahead of the next General Election.

According to Kalonzo, the leaders held discussions with residents focusing on the high cost of living, economic empowerment and the need for inclusive governance. He praised the people of Mulot for what he termed as their boldness and commitment to shaping the country’s future.

Political observers note that the joint appearance by Kalonzo, Gachagua and Wamalwa underscores ongoing efforts to consolidate a broad-based alliance aimed at challenging the Kenya Kwanza administration.

The trio proceeded with their tour to Kisii, with Kalonzo maintaining that the growing public engagements reflect a groundswell of support across regions.

“As leaders, we will continue listening to the people. The message from Mulot is clear — Kenyans are ready,” he said.
