Uasin Gishu County Rural Water and Sanitation Company (URWASCO) is reaffirming its commitment to accelerating quality water service delivery following a high-level consultative meeting with the Principal Secretary for Water, Julius Korir.

The meeting, led by URWASCO Chairman Mr. Pius Kigen, focused on strengthening collaboration between the company and the Ministry to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and long-term impact of water projects, particularly within peri-urban and rural communities.

During the engagement, the Principal Secretary underscored the critical importance of water as a fundamental driver of health, economic growth, and social development. He pledged full support for URWASCO’s mandate, affirming the Ministry’s commitment to working closely with the company to fast-track key initiatives and address existing service delivery gaps.

Chairman Mr. Kigen welcomed the Ministry’s support, noting that strong institutional partnerships are vital to ensuring a reliable, affordable, and sustainable water supply for residents.
