Westlands MP and Bungoma Gubernatorial Aspirant Tim Wanyonyi Eulogizes Prof. Donald Siamba
Westlands Member of Parliament and Bungoma gubernatorial aspirant Tim Wanyonyi has mourned the passing of Prof. Donald Siamba, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Administration, Finance and Development at Kibabii University.
In his condolence message, Wanyonyi described the death of Prof. Siamba as a major loss to the education sector and the country at large, noting that Kenya has lost a distinguished educationist whose contribution came at a time when such minds are most needed for guidance, knowledge sharing, and societal development.
“It is with a heavy heart that I have learned of the passing of Prof. Donald Siamba. Losing an educationist of his stature is a big blow. If our wishes counted for anything, this loss would not have come at a time when we need such minds most,” Wanyonyi said.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to Prof. Siamba’s family, Kibabii University fraternity, Dr. Rispah Wepukhulu who is the Kenya Literature Bureau (KLB) Board Chair, the people of Maeni, Kimilili, Bungoma County, and the entire education sector.
Wanyonyi prayed for comfort to the bereaved family and colleagues, adding, “May the soul of Prof. Donald Siamba rest in eternal peace.”
