Murkomen Leads Coastal Security and Service Delivery Talks in Mombasa

 Interior and National Administration Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has arrived in Mombasa for a security and service delivery consultative meeting with leaders from the six Coastal counties.

The meeting brings together national and county leaders to deliberate on the security situation in the region and agree on measures to improve coordination and service delivery to residents. Key areas of focus include peace and security, public safety, and strengthening collaboration between national and county governments.

CS Murkomen is accompanied by the Cabinet Secretary for Mining and Blue Economy, Hon. Ali Hassan Joho, Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Shariff Nassir, Members of Parliament, and senior Government officials.

The consultations underscore the Government’s commitment to maintaining stability at the Coast and ensuring that citizens benefit from efficient and responsive public services. Outcomes from the meeting are expected to inform targeted interventions aimed at enhancing security and supporting socio-economic development across the region.
