Kimilili MP Calls on Grade 10 Learners Unable to Pay Fees to Report for Support
Kimilili Member of Parliament, Didmus Barasa, has called upon all Grade 10 students from Kimilili Constituency who have failed to report to school due to lack of school fees to present themselves at Kimilili RC Girls Primary School tomorrow at 7:30 a.m.
In a public notice issued on Wednesday, the MP emphasized that no learner should be denied access to education because of financial challenges. Students are required to report in person, dressed in their Junior Secondary School (JSS) uniform, and must carry their school documents, along with a copy of their parent’s or guardian’s National Identification card.
Mr. Barasa stressed the importance of compliance, urging all affected learners not to miss the opportunity. “Education is a right, not a privilege. No child from Kimilili Constituency should be left behind due to lack of school fees,” he said.
The exercise is part of the constituency’s ongoing efforts to identify and support needy students, ensuring a smooth transition and continued learning for all Grade 10 learners.
Parents and guardians have also been encouraged to cooperate by ensuring that students attend the meeting as instructed.
