DCP Party Endorses Harun Maina for Huruma Ward Candidacy in Uasin Gishu County

 The Democratic Change Party (DCP) has officially endorsed Harun Maina to contest the Huruma Ward seat in the upcoming 2027 elections, citing his unwavering support for the party and his strong grassroots mobilization efforts as key reasons for the endorsement.

The decision followed a consultative meeting held yesterday between DCP Party Regional Coordinator Mr. Wachira Njoroge and the party’s ward-level coordinators across Uasin Gishu. During the meeting, coordinators praised Maina for his dedication to the party, noting that he has successfully rallied numerous new members to join DCP, strengthening the party’s presence in what is widely regarded as President William Ruto’s political stronghold.

“Our decision to endorse Harun Maina is based on his consistent support for DCP and his tireless efforts in building the party at the grassroots level. We believe he is the right candidate to represent Huruma Ward and to help the party consolidate its influence in Uasin Gishu. We will not gamble with any other candidate,” Mr. Njoroge stated.

Harun Maina, who has previously been active in community development initiatives within the ward, expressed his gratitude for the endorsement and pledged to dedicate all his energy to the campaign. “I am deeply honored by this endorsement, and I promise not to let the party down.
