Bungoma County Mourns the Passing of Prof. Siamba Donald Namasaka

 


Bungoma County is in mourning following the passing of Prof. Siamba Donald Namasaka, an Associate Professor at Kibabii University and the institution’s Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Administration, Finance and Development, who died this morning.

In a message of condolence, Bungoma Governor Kenneth Lusaka expressed deep sorrow at the loss, describing Prof. Namasaka as a distinguished academic and an accomplished administrator whose contribution to higher education and institutional development will be remembered for years to come.

“I am deeply saddened by the passing of Prof. Siamba Donald Namasaka. He was a dedicated scholar and administrator whose commitment to education and institutional growth had a lasting impact on Kibabii University and the wider academic fraternity,” said Governor Lusaka.

The Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Prof. Namasaka’s family, colleagues, friends, and the entire academic community, noting that Bungoma County had lost a respected intellectual and leader.

“On my behalf and that of the people and the Government of Bungoma County, I extend our sincere condolences to his family, colleagues, and the entire academic fraternity. We stand with them during this difficult moment of grief,” he added.

Governor Lusaka prayed for strength and comfort for the bereaved family and colleagues as they come to terms with the loss.

“May God grant them strength during this difficult time, and may the soul of Prof. Namasaka rest in eternal peace,” the Governor concluded.

Prof. Namasaka’s death is a significant loss to the education sector, particularly in Bungoma County, where his leadership and service greatly contributed to academic and institutional advancement.
