Bees attack a police station in Uganda after dramatic revenge call sparks chaos

Panic and disbelief gripped a busy police station in eastern Uganda after a sudden swarm of aggressive bees descended on the compound, forcing officers and civilians to flee for safety in one of the most bizarre incidents ever witnessed in the area.
According to eyewitnesses, the bees appeared without warning, flooding the station yard, corridors, and holding cells. Officers dropped files, abandoned desks, and ran for cover as the insects chased anyone in uniform. Some members of the public who had gone to report cases were also caught in the chaos, with screams and confusion filling the air.
The incident is linked to a man who had earlier been arrested and falsely accused of stealing. Sources close to the case say the man had repeatedly protested his innocence but was ignored. In desperation, he made a call seeking spiritual protection and revenge, saying he wanted the truth to come out and those behind his framing to be exposed.
Minutes later, the bees struck.
“I have never seen anything like this,” said a boda boda rider who witnessed officers jumping over fences to escape. “They were running like schoolboys. Even the cells were not safe.”
Several officers were reportedly stung, while operations at the station were brought to a complete standstill for hours. The man who had been accused was quietly removed from the scene as the chaos unfolded.
By the time the bees dispersed, the message had already spread across the town. Locals say the incident forced senior officers to review the case that led to the man’s arrest, with questions now being raised about who really committed the alleged theft. To read more click here
