Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya Mourns Former Likuyani MP Dr. Enock Kibunguchy
Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has expressed deep sorrow following the passing of former Likuyani Member of Parliament, Dr. Enock Kibunguchy, describing him as a dedicated public servant and a visionary leader who served his people with humility and patriotism.
In a condolence message, Governor Natembeya said Dr. Kibunguchy devoted his life to public service and remained steadfast in his commitment to the development of Likuyani Constituency and the progress of the nation at large.
“Dr. Kibunguchy was a leader who believed in service above self. His passion for uplifting the lives of his people and his unwavering love for Kenya defined his leadership,” the Governor said.
Governor Natembeya fondly recalled his recent interactions with the former legislator during the TAWE sensitization event in Likuyani, noting that Dr. Kibunguchy had graciously invited him to the forum. He said the discussions and engagements they shared during the event reflected Dr. Kibunguchy’s continued interest in community empowerment and public participation, even after leaving elective office.
“Those moments remain vivid in my memory and will always be remembered with great respect,” he added.
The Governor conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Dr. Kibunguchy’s family, friends, and the people of Likuyani, acknowledging the profound loss they are experiencing.
“As a county and as a nation, we mourn a servant leader whose legacy will continue to inspire future generations. May his soul rest in eternal peace,” Governor Natembeya said.
Dr. Enock Kibunguchy served as the Member of Parliament for Likuyani Constituency and was widely respected for his calm leadership style, dedication to development, and commitment to the welfare of his constituents.
