Marakwet West MP Says President Ruto “A Dealer in Hope,” Optimistic About Kenya’s Future

Marakwet West MP Timothy Kipchumba Toroitich has praised President William Samoei Ruto’s leadership, describing him as “a dealer in hope” who is committed to steering Kenya toward greater prosperity.

Speaking during a public event in Elgeyo Marakwet, the legislator said the President has consistently reassured the nation of his determination to transform Kenya from a third-world to a first-world country. He expressed confidence that the development path the Head of State has taken—supported by citizens—would lead to significant national progress.

“President Ruto is a dealer in hope who has reassured the country that he will work hard to take Kenya from a third-world to a first-world country,” Toroitich said.

He added that, in his view, the President’s approach to governance and reform is positioning the country for long-term growth.

“As a leader in this country, I have no doubt that the direction the President has taken, with the support of Kenyans, will make the country rise,” he said.

The MP urged Kenyans to remain patient and united as the government continues implementing its development agenda, noting that sustained cooperation between leaders and citizens is crucial for the nation’s advancement.
