KSG Deepens Strategic Partnership with Italy’s National School of Administration
The Kenya School of Government (KSG) has taken a significant step toward strengthening its international partnerships following a high-level meeting between its Director General and Chief Executive, Prof. Nura Mohammed, and senior officials from the Italian Republic.
Prof. Mohammed hosted Fabio Minniti, Head of the Regional Office at the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation – Nairobi Office, and Fabio Artuso from Italy’s National School of Administration (SNA), in discussions aimed at expanding the long-standing collaboration between the two institutions.
The engagement reaffirmed the success of the existing partnership while focusing on new, high-impact areas of cooperation. Central to the talks was the shared mandate of both institutions: advancing excellence in public service leadership. The SNA—responsible for selecting and training Italy’s public administration leadership—shares a close institutional alignment with KSG’s mission to strengthen Kenya’s public sector through professional development and capacity building.
According to Prof. Mohammed, the enhanced collaboration is expected to deepen executive training initiatives, promote knowledge exchange, and support institutional development across both countries. He emphasized that the partnership is designed to maximize strategic value and equip public administrators with the advanced managerial skills required for effective 21st-century governance.
