CS Kipchumba Murkomen Joins President Ruto in Consoling the Family of the Late Richie Munyao

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen on Friday joined President William Samoei Ruto in visiting and consoling the family of Michael and Evelyn Munyao following the heartbreaking passing of their son, Richie.

The visit, marked by solemn reflection and prayer, brought together leaders and loved ones seeking to comfort the grieving family during what has been described as an unimaginably painful moment.

Speaking during the condolence visit, CS Murkomen expressed deep sorrow over the loss, noting that Richie was a young man full of promise whose sudden departure has left many in shock.

“This is a deeply painful moment for the family, friends, and everyone who knew Richie. He was loved, full of promise, and his absence leaves a big void,” Murkomen said.

He called for strength and divine comfort for the Munyao family as they navigate the difficult days ahead.

“May God grant comfort and strength to the family,” he added.

President Ruto and CS Murkomen also assured the family of the government’s support during this period of mourning, describing Richie’s passing as a loss not just to his family but to the wider community.

The Munyao home remained a place of quiet consoling as relatives, friends, and community members continued to gather to pay their respects and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family.
