Mitua girls gets major boost as new modern gate unveiled

Mitua Girls Senior School has received a significant boost after Area Member of Parliament, John Chikati, officially launched a modern school gate at the institution, a move hailed as a step forward in enhancing the learning environment.
The launch ceremony, was attended by the school’s Chief Principal, Angelina Kosgei, alongside members of the Board of Management, staff, and students. The new gate, designed with modern security features and aesthetic appeal, is expected to improve both safety and the overall image of the school.
Mitua Girls Senior School is widely recognized as one of the top-performing schools in Western Kenya, consistently excelling academically and in co-curricular activities. Speaking during the event, Chief Principal Kosgei expressed her appreciation for MP Chikati’s initiative, describing the new gate as a major milestone for the school. “This support from our area leader demonstrates a commitment to education and the welfare of our students. The modern gate will enhance security and create a welcoming environment for both staff and learners. We are deeply grateful to MP Chikati for investing in our school,” she said.
