The high-level meeting, held at the ASK Showground in Kitale, focused on ensuring the annual agricultural event maintains its reputation as a leading platform for innovation, sustainability, and community empowerment.
Governor Natembeya emphasized the significance of this year’s exhibition, noting that it presents a critical opportunity for stakeholders across the agricultural value chain to converge, share knowledge, and foster new partnerships.
“This year’s ASK Show must stand out as a beacon of agricultural progress and community engagement,” said the Governor. “We are committed to making it not only a celebration of our farming heritage but also a platform for transformative ideas and practices that will drive the future of agriculture in Trans Nzoia and beyond.”
He further reaffirmed his administration’s full support for the event, stating that the county government is working closely with ASK leadership and other partners to ensure a successful show that reflects the county’s potential as the nation’s breadbasket.
