Kirwa Reaffirms Service Commitment as Survey Shows Strong Approval in Mosop

Abraham Kirwa has reaffirmed his commitment to delivering development and responsive leadership in Mosop Constituency, as new survey data shows a solid majority of residents approving of his performance.

The findings, released during the Mosop Constituency Open Forum, indicate that 58.1 per cent of respondents positively rated Hon. Kipsang Kirwa’s tenure as the current Member of Parliament. The rating places the incumbent in a strong front-runner position and reflects what analysts described as a consolidated support base within the constituency.

Addressing participants at the forum, Kirwa reiterated his pledge to prioritise service delivery, infrastructure development and inclusive engagement with residents. He said his administration remains focused on translating community needs into tangible projects that improve livelihoods.

“This is a responsibility I take seriously. Leadership must remain accountable, responsive and grounded in the voices of the people,” he said.

The survey results suggest sustained public confidence in the MP’s leadership, with a commanding approval margin that strengthens his standing. However, the data also reveals a significant proportion of undecided voters, signalling that the political landscape remains dynamic and potentially open to shifts as civic engagement intensifies.

The Open Forum, convened to encourage dialogue on governance and development priorities in Mosop, underscored the growing role of evidence-based evaluation in public service. Participants highlighted the need for continuous feedback mechanisms to ensure that elected leaders remain aligned with community expectations.

Mizani Africa, the organisation behind the survey, said the assessment was designed to provide actionable insights drawn from public opinion. The firm emphasised that data-driven leadership can enhance transparency, accountability and strategic planning at the constituency level.

As Mosop residents weigh the performance of their leaders, the survey’s findings appear to reinforce Kirwa’s political footing, while also pointing to the importance of sustained engagement ahead of future electoral cycles.
