American Bishop Dr. E.L Warren pays courtesy call on Trans Nzoiab governor, pledges partnership

 




American Bishop Dr E.L. Warren of the Network of Affiliate Ministries in Quincy, Illinois Monday paid a courtesy call on Trans Nzoia County Governor George Natembeya  and pledged  partnerships in matters bolstering  projects anchored in provision of better healthcare which is anchored in the governor's manifesto.


Bishop Warren and his entourage of Bishop Patterson also from the US was accompanied by Unlimited Gospel Ministries International, Bishop Dr Steven Ruto, Bishop Dr Emmanuel Simiyu of GV Kenya and the GS of the unlimited Gospel Ministries, overseer Enock Mukusi.


He said  the gospel must be practical in its totality, adding that his visit was   a testament of the Church's commitment to partner with the governor in fulfilling his aspirations of taking the county to greater levels matters universal health.


The Illinois based  Prelate has been in the County to dedicate an upcoming GV maternity mission hospital in Legacy, Kitale.


During his visit he also held a consultative training session with Pastors and leaders where they were also trained .


Through his Church and other American partners,Dr Warren has so far donated medical equipments worth hundreds of millions to the Wamalwa Kijana Teaching and Referral Hospital and other hospitals in the Sub Counties.


" Our meeting with the governor of Trans Nzoia County Dr. George Natembeya and his team was geared building collaboration in  medical transformation.


The  state of the art equipment that were delivered came after a Kenyan delegation led by renowned Nairobi based plastic surgeon Professor Ferdinand Nang'ole visited the US last year in a discussion with Dr.E.L. Warren and other partners 

 


The meeting which was also attended by County Secretary Truphosa Amere  Finance and Economic planning CECM Dr. Wanjala Pepela who was the chief negotiator for the equipments underscored a strong and cordial partnership between the American faith based organization leaders and the Trans Nzoia County admitted and local spiritual leadership to support community development initiatives. 


Health CECM Kerio Lorot and his Youth, Sports and gender Counterpart Eliud Tormoi Were also in attendance.


While welcoming Bishop Warren and his entourage, the Governor said " he was deeply delighted to host the Bishop whom he said had donated equipments that will go along way in ensuring more than 1.4 million residents of the cosmo-politan County receive quality healthcare.


" I wish to from the deep of my heart on my own behalf and of the great people of Trans Nzoia County express gratitude  to Bishop Dr Warren for prayers and support.


He reiterated his commitment and pledged to implement the Health Task force report that was chaired by Professor Ferdinand Nang'ole.
