Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon. Babu Owino has delivered a heartfelt message of encouragement to Kenyans facing difficult times, likening their struggles not to the end, but to a new beginning in disguise.
Speaking during a community outreach forum in Nairobi, Hon. Babu Owino reminded constituents that dark seasons in life may not be tombs—but wombs, preparing them for a powerful rebirth.
“What if the darkness you are going through is not the darkness of the tomb, but the darkness of the womb?” posed the legislator. “It may feel like everything is falling apart, but in reality, something new and divine is being birthed in your life.”
The youthful MP, known for his motivational speaking style and strong grassroots presence, emphasized that God’s timing and purpose are at work even when circumstances seem hopeless.
“You are about to discover a talent you never knew you had. That heartbreak, that betrayal, that rejection—it didn’t stop your destiny. In fact, it prepared the way for something even better,” he added.
Hon. Babu Owino assured the crowd that challenges such as joblessness, broken relationships, addiction, and grief are not permanent and that God will turn pain into purpose.
“He will turn your mourning into dancing. He will transform your lack into abundance, your sickness into healing, and your sorrow into strength. Your mess will become your message,” he said to resounding applause.
Echoing biblical hope, the legislator reminded attendees that a new day begins in darkness, and called on Kenyans to walk by faith, not by sight, even when there seems to be no visible progress.
“You may not see anything changing, but keep your head high. Walk in faith. God is the redeemer—He will pay you back for every tear, every injustice, and every hurt. Keep your hope alive,” he urged.
The MP concluded by reiterating his commitment to uplifting Embakasi East residents, not only through tangible development but also through spiritual and emotional empowerment.
