Veteran gospel artist and activist, Reuben Kigame, celebrated his 59th birthday in a meaningful and impactful way by giving back to his community in Vihiga County. In a gesture of goodwill, Kigame donated a water tank to Musinaka Primary School, which has been facing significant water challenges due to a lack of fresh water and electricity.
The donation was met with overwhelming gratitude from both the students and teachers, who noted that the new water tank will greatly ease their daily struggles. The school had been relying on limited water sources, which affected the overall well-being of the students and the smooth running of daily activities.
“This donation will go a long way in improving our school’s operations. We are truly grateful for Reuben Kigame’s generosity and his commitment to supporting education and the community,” said a representative from the school.
Kigame, known for his philanthropic work and dedication to uplifting communities, took the opportunity to express his commitment to giving back to society. "As I celebrate another year of life, I am reminded of the importance of supporting one another. Education and basic necessities like clean water are fundamental for a thriving community, and I am happy to be part of this positive change," he said during the donation.
The act of kindness reflects Kigame’s deep-rooted belief in the power of community and his ongoing efforts to support education and development, particularly in underserved areas.
With this donation, Musinaka Primary School now has a reliable water source, which will not only improve the health and hygiene of students but also create a more conducive learning environment.
