Kamukunji MP Yusuf Hassan Presented with National Honour

Kamukunji MP Hon. Yusuf Hassan Abdi was on Thursday presented with the Chief of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS) medal and certificate by National Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon. Dr. Moses Wetang’ula at Parliament Buildings.

The presentation formed part of a ceremony honouring Members of Parliament, senators, parliamentary staff and other public officials who had previously been conferred with national honours by President Dr. William Ruto.

The CBS is the first class of the Order of the Burning Spear, one of Kenya’s national orders of honour.

For Hon. Yusuf Hassan, the recognition adds another distinguished milestone to his long career in public service and representation of the people of Kamukunji.

The occasion provided an opportunity to formally recognise his contribution to national service and his continued commitment to the people he represents.
