Mwea MP Mary Maingi steps up push for Kimbimbi–Kajiji–Togonye road upgrade

Mwea Member of Parliament Hon. Mary Maingi has reaffirmed her commitment to improving road infrastructure in the constituency, as tarmacking works on the Kimbimbi–Kajiji–Togonye Road continue to make progress.

The ongoing works are expected to transform transport and connectivity for residents along the corridor, easing movement while improving access to key social and economic facilities.

According to Hon. Maingi, the road will play an important role in connecting communities to markets, farms, schools and essential services, while creating an enabling environment for increased economic activity.

She said she was pleased with the progress being witnessed on the ground, noting that the project represents an important step towards addressing the infrastructure needs of residents.

The road is also expected to improve the movement of agricultural produce, particularly by farmers who depend on reliable transport networks to access markets and connect with buyers.
