Moisbridge Ward MCA Patrick Kimeli has dismissed a purported Infotrak report circulating on social media, describing it as fake and allegedly generated using artificial intelligence to create a false impression about his performance and standing among residents.

Kimeli said the document being circulated does not appear on the official Infotrak website and challenged those sharing it to provide evidence that it was genuinely produced by the research and polling firm.

According to the MCA, members of the public should not rely on screenshots and documents circulating on social media without first establishing their source and authenticity.

Kimeli said anyone interested in verifying the alleged report can visit Infotrak's official platforms and establish whether the document was published by the organisation.

He accused unnamed individuals of attempting to use the alleged report to tarnish his name and undermine the work he has been undertaking in Moisbridge Ward.

“It's being spread by fellows who think it may help them tarnish my name and work,” Kimeli said.

The MCA questioned the motive behind the circulation of the document, telling those behind the claims to pursue their political or personal agendas openly rather than relying on information he described as false.

“Ambia hao watafute agenda. Uongo haiwezi wasaidia,” he said.

Kimeli maintained that his record as Moisbridge Ward MCA is open to public scrutiny and that residents can assess his performance based on projects, services and engagements undertaken within the ward.

He said he was not prepared to be distracted by what he termed misinformation, insisting that his focus remains on serving residents and addressing issues affecting the people of Moisbridge.

“My work is clear and open. My work speaks louder by themselves,” Kimeli said.

The MCA further thanked the people of Moisbridge for what he described as their continued support and confidence, saying residents are capable of distinguishing between genuine information and material circulated for political purposes.

His remarks come at a time when the use of artificial intelligence and digital content creation has made it increasingly possible to produce documents and images that can appear authentic despite lacking a verifiable source.

Kimeli urged residents to exercise caution when encountering purported opinion polls, research reports and other political documents shared through social media platforms, especially where the original source cannot be established.

He said public officials should be judged on their actual record of service and engagement with residents rather than on unverified material circulating online.

The MCA maintained that his activities and development record in Moisbridge remain accessible to the public and challenged those questioning his performance to engage residents and examine the work being undertaken in the ward.

Kimeli's response has also highlighted the growing challenge facing political leaders and the public in distinguishing genuine research findings from fabricated digital content, particularly as the 2027 political environment continues to take shape.

For Kimeli, however, the focus remains on his constituency and the people he represents, with the MCA insisting that his record should remain the primary basis on which residents assess his leadership.

He concluded by thanking the people of Moisbridge for standing with him and reaffirming his commitment to continue serving the ward while ignoring what he described as attempts to distract him through false information.
