Leaders and security officials in Homa Bay County have issued a stern warning to goons, drug dealers, and land cartels operating in the region, signaling a major crackdown on criminal activities.

Speaking during a public security meeting in Homa Bay Town, county security officials said criminal groups have been spreading fear among residents through violence, illegal land dealings, and drug trafficking. They warned that the government will not allow criminals to undermine peace and security in the county.

"We are giving a serious notice to all goons, drug dealers, and land cartels. Your days are numbered because security agencies are closely monitoring your activities," one security official said.

The officials revealed that numerous complaints had been received from residents concerning rising cases of land grabbing, drug abuse among youths, and attacks linked to organized criminal gangs. In response, security operations will be intensified in affected areas across the county.

"We want our people to live in peace and conduct their businesses without fear. Anyone involved in criminal activities will face the full force of the law," the official added.

Local leaders also urged residents to work closely with law enforcement officers by reporting suspicious activities and helping security agencies root out criminal networks within their communities.
