“Sudi Blasts Gachagua Over Brutal Petrol Attack on Woman With Ruto Tattoo”
Kapseret MP Oscar Kipchumba Sudi has condemned the horrific attack on Rachael Muthoni, the woman allegedly doused in petrol after tattooing President William Ruto’s image on her chest.
Sudi, who visited Muthoni in hospital, accused former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, popularly known as “Wamunyoro,” of fueling toxic political hostility that he claimed may have contributed to the barbaric incident.
“Wamunyoro, you cannot escape accountability for this barbaric attack. Targeting someone like this is indefensible. Hata kama ni siasa, this is not the way to go,” Sudi said.
The outspoken lawmaker described the attack as “unyama wa hali ya juu,” saying no Kenyan deserves such cruelty because of political beliefs or personal expression.
“The brutal attack she endured ni ya unyama. Mr. Dorcas, hii hautaeupuka!” he added.
The incident has sparked outrage online, with leaders and Kenyans calling for swift investigations and justice for the victim as she continues receiving treatment.
