Students Relocated to Moiben Campus as Kenya School of TVET Expands
The Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET) has announced the relocation of a section of its students to its Moiben Campus as part of efforts to ease congestion at its main campus in Nairobi.
In an official notice dated April 3, 2026, the institution confirmed that all students from the September 2025 intake in the Department of Agriculture and Environmental Studies, as well as the Department of Health and Applied Sciences, will be affected by the move. The decision follows increased enrollment at the main campus and aligns with government directives to expand Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.
According to the notice, the relocation is backed by Legal Notice No. 123 of 2022, which established KSTVET and provided for the development of regional campuses. The operationalization of the Moiben Campus is part of this broader strategy.
The affected students, who are currently undertaking Module II through online learning, will transition to the new campus beginning May 2026. They are expected to report physically on May 11, 2026, where they will proceed with Module III of their studies.
KSTVET Chief Executive Officer, Edwin Tarno, urged students to make the necessary preparations ahead of the reporting date. He also noted that the institution will communicate any further changes if necessary.
The move marks a significant step in expanding access to technical education in Kenya while addressing capacity challenges at the main campus.
