Teso South MP Joins President Ruto in Launch of Modern Busia Stadium

The Member of Parliament for Teso South Constituency,  Hon. Mary Emaase Otucho**, participated today in the launch of the Modern Busia Stadium, a milestone project set to boost sports development in the region.

The stadium, once complete, will serve as a critical platform for nurturing local talent and complement ongoing initiatives at the Asiriam Sports Complex. Speaking at the event, Hon. Otucho emphasized the importance of sports infrastructure in empowering youth and creating pathways for athletic excellence.

“I am proud that Teso South Constituency is firmly on the national development agenda. The Modern Busia Stadium will not only nurture sporting talent but also strengthen community engagement,” said Hon. Otucho.

The launch, attended by President **William Samoei Ruto**, the Governor of Busia, local leaders, and wananchi, was followed by a public rally in Busia Town.

Hon. Otucho reiterated her commitment to championing development projects that benefit the youth and wider community of Teso South Constituency.
